Give A Shirt 2022

A recap of our inaugural fundraising campaign, Give a Shirt, in collaboration with Mia Boe and Music In Exile.

Together we raised over $2,500 and printed over 200 shirts that will be worn for years to come, to spread the good work and sounds of Music in Exile.

Das T-Shirt Automat has launched a new initiative called Give a Shirt, in which it hosts merch campaigns on behalf of not-for-profits.

This November is the first time Give a Shirt is being run and will see a collaboration between Das T-Shirt Automat, artist Mia Boe and not-for-profit record label Music in Exile.

Boe has created two limited edition T-shirts to raise funds for the music label, which supports musicians from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Its roster includes local artists Elsy Wameyo, Ajak Kwai and Mindy Meng Wang.

The T-shirts are $35 each and available for pre-order from Tuesday November 15 to Wednesday November 23. There is also a tea towel available for $25. To limit waste and maximise donations, they only print items that are pre-ordered between those dates, so don’t miss out on securing yours and supporting a good cause.

All items will be printed in early December and can either be shipped out to you or collected from one of four locations around Melbourne, making it a good option for Christmas presents as well.
